No Sugar Challenge Day 1

Today was day 1 of my no sugar challenge. It was kind of hard. Actually what got me through the tough moments was thinking about how I only need to do 30 days of no sugar instead of 40 something. That reduction put me at ease. Am I only going to do 30 days? I don’t know. I’m thinking probably not. I’ll be able to answer that on day 30.

I’ll update about the challenge weekly.

I didn’t have anything with added sugar. The only sweet thing I had was fruit with my oatmeal in the morning and some pineapple as a snack in the afternoon. I also weighed myself this morning for the first time in several weeks. I was 56.35 kg or just a hair under 124 lbs . Honestly, I was expecting that number to be higher. Last summer I weighed 115. I’d like to get back there again.

I kind of had a lot of food today but I didn’t want to bother with calorie restricting if I was already trying to avoid sugar. I think this will get easier as my cravings start to go away.

Anyway, I’m happy I made it through day 1! See y’all in a week!
